The Minister of National Economy, Khaled Al-Esseily, said that the dependence on imports from the Israeli side is gradually decreasing monthly, in the context of the government's policy of economic disengagement from the occupation.

Al-Esseily told the official Voice of Palestine radio today, Sunday, that the government's strategy to detach from the occupation includes several new elements and trends, most notably the strengthening of the national product and supporting the establishment of new investments and industries.

Al-Esseily pointed out that the Japanese were asked yesterday during the visit of the Japanese Minister of State to the Agricultural Industrial City in Jericho as part of strengthening the relationship with the Japanese government projects to facilitate the work of industry, and attract new investors to Palestine.

He added that 50 factories will be announced soon in Jericho Industrial and Agricultural City, noting that 16 factories have been established in the city and their conditions are very good.
