Israel steals artifacts from Senai!

Palestine Economy Portal_ Agencies: The Israeli newspaper "Maariv" revealed that the Chief of Staff of the Occupation Army, former Israeli Minister of War Moshe Dayan, has been stealing Egyptian antiquities in Sinai. In a report published by the newspaper yesterday, the journalist, Eido Dissentik, said that his father, Arie, who was an editor for the newspaper "Maariv", was caught while serving in the reserve forces, Dayan, stealing antiquities in Sinai, noting that Dayan supervised the excavation work to uncover the antiquities and then sent them to his home in Tel Aviv. According to the same source, Moshe Dayan was digging for antiquities in the archaeological area of Sarabit al-Khadim, which is located southwest of Sinai, about 80 kilometers away from the city of Abu Zenima, and he used to land with his helicopter in the archaeological areas, and hide the antiquities in bags in preparation for transporting them to his home. Regarding the reason for his father’s silence on these thefts, Dissentik said that his father told him that he had not published materials about Dayan's theft of antiquities from Sinai under the pretext that Israel needed him “and that he was our support and our hope,” warning that Maariv did not write about Dayan's thefts until 1981, after His retirement from political work. According to the newspaper, when Israel occupied Sinai for the first time in 1956, it stole antiquities from Serabit El-Khadem, where they were shipped to the Antiquities Department in occupied Jerusalem.
