PECDAR and Palestine Medical Complex Conclude Health Quality Training

RAMALLAH- Economic Council for Development and Reconstruction "PECDAR" and Palestine Medical Complex concluded a training in hygienic quality of a group of doctors and nurses of the complex, in the complex's headquarters in Ramallah.

 

The training, which benefited seven employees, is part of a program carried out by "PECDAR" in collaboration with the Ministry of Health and funded by the Arab Kuwaiti Fund that aim at enhancing the skills of the doctors and staff working in Ramallah Medical Complex in different subjects, with a total value of a million dollars allocated for training agreements. The complex benefit of about one thousand employees.

 

A healthy quality course (HCCQPC) was held by Accreditation Council for Health Institutions in Jordan, which is a non-profit organization that provides training services for health cadres to improve the quality of services, increase the effectiveness and efficiency of health institutions and help them apply high quality standards that enable quality experts in hospitals to assess the quality of their services, compared with the Standards.

 

The training, which lasted for a week, granted trainees a period of 3 months for the application of instructions and the experience gained followed by meetings with coaches to discuss the feedback, and then submit the exam to give them a degree in health quality, a quality certificate coordinator accredited by the Council.

 

One of the training objectives is to give staff the ability to use quality tools to facilitate the development of health quality activities in Palestine Medical Complex, and implement effective changes in management strategies, through the application of quality standards and the development of performance indicators and risk management.
